  4.                  Offering this material on disk through shareware
  5.           distribution channels is an experiment.  The principle of
  6.           "try before you buy" computer shareware is now well
  7.           established, and the author is now offering a test of
  8.           "try before you buy" consulting services.
  9.                  Normally the author works with a client's own
  10.           lawyers and accountants, advising them on the comparative
  11.           advantages and legal structures available in the various
  12.           tax havens, while the domestic professionals then relate
  13.           that knowledge to the tax laws of the particular client's
  14.           country of citizenship and/or residence.  The author's fees
  15.           for such consultations are normally $250 per hour plus
  16.           travel expenses.  You now have the opportunity to study the
  17.           basic structure of that advice, and determine if you can
  18.           use it in your personal financial situation.  There is no
  19.           set fee for the use of this program, and the author leaves
  20.           it to the individual user to determine how much use he has
  21.           derived from it.
  22.                  If you read it and enjoy it as a book, but have no
  23.           particular use for the information except as information,
  24.           then a price similar to that you would have paid for a book
  25.           would be appropriate -- say $25.  (The author's books on
  26.           tax havens sell for as much as $125.) If you are using this
  27.           program as a substitute for personal consultations, then a
  28.           substantially larger fee is requested -- a minimum of $250
